We spent a week at Rancho Naturalista in December and loved every minute of it. We had a fantastic guide who took us on excursions to see birds in different habitats. We were amazed by what we saw. The stay at Rancho Naturailista exceeded our expectations, and we’d love to go back!

It’s a beautiful and peaceful place to stay and enjoy nature. Awesome for birding. The services is also really good. Highly recommended!

Worth the trip!! Food and staff Top Notch! Hummingbird pools were unique to the area and pretty magical. Sunsets were stunning. I will definitely go back. Birdwatching here was great, saw agouti and other animals. Pretty cool place.

Great birding, fruit and hummingbird feeders abound, terrific food, wonderful staff, outgoing owner, amazing guides, beautifully decorated rooms, and even a yoga deck nestled in the treetops. This was the third time my group has stayed there as we love it!

Everything we heard about Rancho was true. In fact, it was better. The place is stunning, rooms comfortable and the food superb. Staff are friendly and very helpful. But the best part is of course the birds. You could just sit on the balcony and watch the hummingbirds all day. But there is so much more, with many other species visiting the garden and tracks across the property. Resident guides are absolutely wonderful. A must stop for any Costa Rica visit.
